I just wanted to share some information I received and I thought I would pass it on. Its a great way to help out your favorite charity.
Seattle’s Best Coffee has kicked off the Brew-lanthropy Project, a unique project to seek out those doing the most good -- the staff and volunteers of nonprofits -- and reward them with a ‘Coffee Makeover’ and a $5,000 donation to fuel their mission. The first ‘Coffee Makeover’ was awarded to Blackstone Bicycle Works for their dedication to teaching neighborhood kids life lessons through bike mechanics and healthy living (video below).
Now, Seattle’s Best is asking America where to go next by nominating their favorite local non-profits on the Seattle’s Best Coffee Facebook page to reward another deserving charity with a coffee makeover. Entries will be accepted through April 29. The nominations will be narrowed down to four finalists, then Facebook fans will vote to determine the winner, which will be announced in May. Each finalist will be awarded $500 worth of Seattle’s Best Coffee.
So if there’s an organization in your community that deserves a reward for their dedication to doing good, please become a Brew-lanthropist and nominate them today!
