Luxurious RV’s
By allkinds on Feb 28, 2010 | In automobiles
I was watching a show the other day I think it was on HGTV about amazing motor homes (or shall I say RV’s). I could not believe some of these RV’s they were just incredible, so nice inside and I see why some people live in them. I couldn’t believe how much people spend on these vehicles, some of these vehicles cost over a million dollars. I don’t think if I had that much money I would spend it on building one of these luxurious RV’s. I could imagine if one these broke down and they would need motorhome towing how much that would cost. Do any of you have an RV? Or have rented one? Do you use it often?
No insurance required
By allkinds on Jan 21, 2010 | In automobiles
Almost every state has a law that requires drivers to have automobile insurance and of course it must be current as well. I heard a few rumors flying around that a few states will remove this law and that it would be optional to have auto insurance. It was said that doing this would help people save money, since many people don’t have a job they can’t afford to pay the premiums. I am not sure if this is a good idea. I mean what happens if you get into an accident with an uninsured motorist? Are you stuck with the bill? I mean how much is that worth, it would be easier for these states to simply put a cap on how much an insurance company can charge you and then these people can easily get a new auto insurance quote to find a much cheaper rate. Right now when you get in a car you risk the fact that there are people driving without insurance already against the law, so do we need to add even more of these people on the road? What do you think? Do you agree with this?
Car insurance emails
By allkinds on Dec 30, 2009 | In automobiles
It seems like my email box has been bombarded lately with websites offering auto insurance quotes. I am not sure what is going on but it seems like I get at least 10-15 emails a day. Did I miss something? Is there some new law that is going to kick in, in regards to cars insurance? If somebody has a clue on what’s going on, by all means please fill me in. I feel like I am at a lost with this influx of emails from these websites. Are you getting these emails too? Or am I the only one?
Pimp your Garage
By allkinds on Dec 9, 2009 | In Home and Garden, automobiles
I was watching DIY the other day and they had a show on in which they pimped Guy Fieri’s garage. They had all sorts of cool car parts, TV’s, bar, frig etc.. It came out nice when they were done with it. The garage was as big as some peoples houses, but of course this guy is rich no pun intended. Wouldn’t it be cool to pimp your garage or a room in your house with any car parts or even Ferrari parts? Maybe you can have the guy from DIY show come over and do it all for free, at least I think it’s free. I think the show is called Garage Mahal?
Car accessories
By allkinds on Aug 15, 2009 | In automobiles

I was at a site called Carid that had all kinds of auto accessories. It seem like you can find accessories for many different makes of cars. This is a cool site for those of you that love to bling up your cars. One of my favorite accessories was the body kits, although I don't have a car that you can use the kits for I just thought that they were really nice, especially the kits that have ground effects. Check out the Ford Explorer doesn't that look like?
Make a bed out of Ferrari parts
By allkinds on May 26, 2009 | In automobiles

A friend of mine is having a baby boy soon and was looking for a cool theme for his room. I suggested she turn the wall in to a street using a stripe around the whole room, there she can turn the room into a car theme. She could use car decals or racing decals that she can buy already made or by printing them herself from her computer. She was really excited about the theme because her husband loves Ferrari’s.
I told her she could even go a step further and buy used Ferrari parts and turn them into a car bed when her son was old enough to sleep in a bigger bed. So tomorrow she will be checking out places that sell Ferrari parts for cheap and she is also going to look for car parts and car theme items she can use in the room. I can’t wait to see her finished product. I told her to check out HGTV’s website to see if they have any suggestions on her theme.
One way to save money
By allkinds on Feb 22, 2009 | In automobiles
One way to save money in this economy is to cut down on car insurance. You can easily get a free quote to compare car insurance. One of the places you can do this is using online auto insurance, progressive or the many other sites that will compare the rates of several companies. Another way to this is to also call your current company and tell them that you are shopping around for a cheaper rate, they may just offer you a lower rate on the spot to keep your business. Now you can call your current insurance company before you compare rates or you can get the rates first and have them on hand to tell your current company. Competition is furious every where no one wants to lose customers, so shop around and get it as cheap as you can!
