Epson TM-T88V
By allkinds on May 1, 2012 | In Baby andToddler

I was on my other blog talking about a garage sale I was at where I found a bar code scanner worth over $100 and only paid a quarter for it. In that same garage sale I found a Epson TM-T88V worth over $300 and paid $25 for it and yes it did work. I am telling you never know what you can find if you go to one of these sales. That's why I just love going to them and seeing what treasures they may have. Do you go to garage sales? Have you found anything worth money? If so what did you find? How much was it worth? Did you sell it or keep it?
scott kay rings

Have you seen the scott kay rings? They are really beautiful and they have a really nice selection. You can even build your own ring where you pick the diamond and the mount and they will make it for you. They also sell watches, watch bands and accessories, earrings, necklaces, bracelets and more. I loved looking at all of the jewelry they had to offer. I especially loved the jewelry that you can add your families birthstones to it, I also like the ones where you can add both your families birthstones and names to it.

Baby gifts
By allkinds on Apr 10, 2011 | In Baby andToddler
When it comes to buying baby gifts I can honestly say I know a lot about the subject. Being the mom of 4 has showed me a whole lot,and if you are look to buy a baby gift for that mom to be there is one gift that you can never go wrong with diapers. Diapers and wipes were the best gifts I ever received, you can never have enough of both. The best thing to do if you a going to give diapers as a gift is to give it in different sizes if possible. The best gift is onesies and botties. I would reframe from giving to much clothes for the simple fact that the baby will outgrow them quickly. There is only so much clothes a baby is going to wear. Then you have those little gifts like safety equipment, bottles, bibs, etc... A new mom will appreciate any gift you give, but if you really truly not sure then ask the new mom would she wants and needs.

I was doing a search the other day for baby quilts and I was over whelmed by the number sites, so I did a more specific search christening gifts baby quilt and I narrowed it down some what. I was looking for a baby quilt that had a christening theme to it, since it was a gift for a christening. You would be surprised at all the cute quilts I saw. I even found one that you could personalize with a picture and christening info with it. I forwarded the information to a friend of mine who was looking for a different type of gift. Hopefully he will like the sites I found for him and will pick the personalized quilt which was my very favorite one.
Out of Sync Child

I have been reading this book and I recommend it to anyone who has a child with sensory processing issues. When my youngest son was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder I wanted to learn more about it, so this book was recommended to me. It really opens your eye to the disorder and what people who have this disorder goes through. Everyone who has this disorder does not have it the same. If you don't know what it is its a new name for Sensory Integration Dysfunction.
Sensory processing disorder or SPD is a neurological disorder causing difficulties with taking in, processing and responding to sensory information about the environment and from within the own body (visual, auditory, tactile, olfaction, gustatory, vestibular and proprioception). For those with SPD, sensory information may be sensed and perceived in a way that is different from most other people. It has been a long learning process and I am still learning and trying to understand his world, but this book has helped me a lot.
