Take my advice if you ever thought of trying Cricket Wireless service save yourself the trouble and run. I hate that company with a passion and will never do business with them again. Back in Jan I went to their site and spoke with a rep online about getting wireless service with them, you took my information I picked out a phone and she said I would get it in a few days. The service was suppose to come with a free month so I could try it and see if I liked it. Well a week went by no phone, so I called them only to find out that the phone was on back order and had been since the day I placed the order. The rep name Shaunte new that and didn’t bother to tell me so she could get the sale. I finally received the phone almost 2 weeks later, go to activate it and couldn’t called again only to find out the phone was defective. Now I had to wait for another phone, they promised me I would get one right away, that didn’t happen, the phone was on back order again. Mind you all these days I was on the phone with these idiots sometimes for hours trying to get this straight. It was almost Feb by the time I got another phone I went to activate that one and had even more problems these idiots at Cricket would not honor the free month stating that I had already used up some time that I need to pay them almost 18 dollars, how could that be when I had a defective phone that could not be activated, so I could not use the phone. All the while they charged my credit card for the phone; I had to get my bank involved that were wonderful in helping get my money back. I also placed a complaint with the BBB, they are a joke in my opinion also. Cricket would lie to them telling them one thing but telling something else. In the end I got my money back and went with another company. Cricket calls me everyday harassing me to come back and they will give me the free month, are you really kidding me to think I would deal with them. I have heard many people say they have had problems with them and they have many complaints filed with the BBB yet these crooks are still in business what a joke. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from these clowns!!!

I can’t believe the baby games these two websites are playing. I signed up for mypoints back in May of this year and the only reason I signed up for it is that I am member of a certain site and they pay me to do things with points and in turn I can turn in those points for gift cards. Now the site I was with didn’t do it this way (pay me with points) before, but they decided to go with my points for some reason so I signed up as well.

If you don’t know anything about mypoints and what they are all about, I will fill you in real quick. Mypoints is a site where they have lots of merchants listed that you can shop from. If you use their site to visit other merchants and shop from these merchants you are awarded points. These points can then be turned into gift cards. So mypoints awards you for shopping through their links. Now we all the know that the reason mypoints is offering these points is because they have to be making some cash some how from these merchants. Another way you get points from them is to read and click on emails they send you and you can earn extra points if you sign up in the email.

Ok now back to my venting. I received an email on August 26th, 2008 from mypoints asking me to join a website called stylefeeder. Stylefeeder is some shopping site where you look at products and give them a rating. If you signed up with stylefeeder you would receive so many points when you clicked on the link, so many points for joining and so many points for every product you rated. It sounded like an excellent way to get lots of points. Let me add one point before I continue mypoints says you have to wait up to 30 days in some cases to receive your points. Back to the story I signed up and a few thousand ratings. On September 26th, 2008 I was suppose to see mypoints to my account and low and behold no points.

71 days later and several emails to mypoints and stylefeeder no points. I have even placed a complaint to the bbb and they gave an excuse the bbb. Stylefeeder blames mypoints and mypoints blames stylefeeder. Here I am waiting for thousands of points that I could of turned into hundreds of dollars worth of gift cards. So do I think that stylefeeder and mypoints are a joke? Of course I do.
