Why is that these insurance companies love to sign you and take your money for the monthly premiums, but when its time for them to pay up you have to jump through hoops for them. They need to stop what they are doing and there needs to be better laws to help us the consumer. Take disability insurance for instance, there are some companies that make you wait this long waiting period to file a claim and there is no guarantee they will approve of the claim. Or by the time you are eligible to submit the claim its time for you to go back to work, so you either don’t get paid at all for the time you miss work, or you only get paid for a few days and not the entire time you was out. It is just not right, I know many people who had a hard time getting paid, but if they missed a payment they would get a notice or a phone call right away. I really do think we need to change some laws.
