Renew Intensive Skin Therapy and The Gold Bar
By allkinds on May 10, 2007 | In Fitness and Health
I was asked to review these 2 items for Claudia Lopez. Claudia is a consultant for Melaleuca. Although I have heard of Melaleuca I have never had a chance to try one of their products. For the past week I have been trying 2 of their products.
First I am going to talk about the Renew Intensive Skin Therapy Lotion. I have dry skin, every since I have moved to NC my skin has changed and I am always looking for something to treat it and make it better, and folks I think I have found it. The lotion has made my skin very soft and looking healthy. This lotion works well with people who have Eczema, Psoriasis, Rosacea, Diabetes, Dry skin etc…
There are 2 prices for this product if you purchase a 8oz bottle you can expect to spend $13.50 which I think its worth it. Also if you become a preferred customer you will get a discount and the cost would be $9.15. Some my think that the price is steep, but if you were to get a prescription for a something similar I am sure you would pay a lot more.
I also tried The Gold Bar, which was a 1.5 oz trial size of soap. The Gold Bar costs $6.00 for a 4.5oz size, become a perferred customer and pay $3.99. The Gold Bar is almost like the lotion expect in a soap form. It was very soothing on my skin. And it did not dry out my skin like other soaps do. I really enjoyed using it.
I am really glad I received the opportunity to try out some Melaleuca products. If you would like more information on Melaleucua and their products or if you would like to sell their products contact Claudia Lopez at Work At Home United. Her website is www.workathomeunited.com/save or www.melaleuca.com make sure you ask for Claudia.
Shakelee Basic H2 Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate
By allkinds on Oct 7, 2007 | In Fitness and Health
Jenn Dettman is the mother of 2 and a Shakelee rep. I had fun testing out this product as there are so many things you can clean with this product. The best thing about using it, was that I knew it was safe for me being pregnant and for my family.
One of the things I like was that it is an all purpose cleaner, where you can clean your floors, ceilings, mirrors, windows, counters, tubs, etc.... You can also clean food, yes food like fruits and vegetables. You can use it to clean your pooch or any of your pets. My dog had a wonderful bath. Its a wonderful grease remover and all around bathroom cleaner.
This product is:
Nontoxic
Natural
Doubly concentrated
Biodegradable
I was so impressed with the fact that you can just use this to clean everything instead of having a cabinet full of different cleaners to clean your home. By using this product to clean your house not only will it save you a ton of money, but it will keep your family safe from the toxins they put into other cleaning products.
A 16 oz. bottle of concentrate will cost you $11.95 for non members and $10.15 for members.
A 64 oz bottle of concentrate will cost you $42.95 for non members and $36.50 for members.
You may think this is a lot of money but with just a 16 oz. bottle you can get 48 yes 48 gallons of concentrate.
To become a member the cost is $19.95 for lifetime membership and you will get a discount on all of their products.
Contact Jenn Dettman at
www.shakelee.net/healthy_family or give her call at 1-888-899-9375 To find out more information or to purchase this product.
I would recommend this product to anyone. I give it 4 stars!
TriVita Sublingual B-12
July 10th, 2007
Lisa Gough is a Trivita Business Affiliate. What is Trivita? Trivita is a company that sells health products such as vitamins, creams, drinks, etc…
Lisa Gough sent me a 30-day supply of TriVita Sublingual B-12, which is a vitamin supplement. The vitamins contain B-6, Folic Acid, vitamin B-12 and Biotin. I had a friend of mine name Susan to try the product.
Trivita Sublingual B-12 is said to increased energy and stamina, increased mental clarity, decreased dangerous homocysteine levels, which lessens the risk of developing heart disease and Alzheimer’s Disease, give emotional balance and help achieve restful sleep.
According to Susan she said that she did see a little difference in her energy level after taking the vitamins for a little over a week. Susan also stated that she was able to have a clearer mind as well. I asked Susan on a scale of 1-10 how much more energy did she feel. Susan states that she felt her energy level go up to about a 4. I asked Susan if she would personally purchase the product and she said that she would try it out again.
If you purchase the vitamins as a non-member you would pay $24.99 and if you become a member you can expect to pay about $19.99 for 30 tablets. You automatically become a member once you purchase 2 products from Trivita and you will then begin to receive discounts on future products.
If you would like to know more about Trivita you can contact Lisa Gough at http://www.trivita.com/12239764 or at http://www.everydayisbetter.com.
I would like to thank my friend Susan for testing out the product. I would also like state this is a review based on the person that reviewed the product. Before starting or taking any new medicines, or vitamins please check with your doctor first!
Healthy Teas
By allkinds on Aug 14, 2007 | In Cooking, Food and Drink
Before I go on with this new review, I have to share a little story with you.
I had received a box of products to review; one of the products was a sample of teas and coffee. My husband was home from work as he had gotten some kind of stomach bug and was unable to keep anything down. After a few hours he really wanted to try and eat or drink something.
My husband is a big coffee drinker; he also likes to drink tea from time to time. As he looked thru the kitchen for some tea I remembered the samples I had received and gave it to him to try. I told him well here is some tea, try one of these and see if you can keep it down.
Low and behold my worry for my husband turned into my review of these products. Erica Johns calls herself Supermom and sells a variety of products at http://www.supermomshealthandwellness.com.
Over the following days I will review several products from her line. Today I am reviewing the following teas Rooibos Herbal Tea, Yerba Mate Royale. I will also review Teeccino Almond Amaretto Coffee, Prairie Kari Lively Lemon Soap and Cinnamon, Oat and Honey Soap.
The following review was done by my husband who fell in love with the teas and coffee. He especially enjoyed the Rooibos Herbal Tea. He stated that it made his stomach feel better and he loved the taste and how soothing it made him feel. He stated the taste was very rich and he would love to drink some more. I asked him if he would pay $5.49 for a box, and he said he would. The funny thing is that when I went to check out the site for more information about the product and to obtain a price, I did not realize that this tea is used to help upset stomachs. Which shows why my husband felt better after drinking the tea. He was indeed soothed by the tea as he took a nap right afterwards.
When I asked him about the Yerba Mate Royale Tea and the Teeccino Almond Amaretto Coffee, he stated that he also enjoyed drinking both of the products. He liked the taste of both of them as well. But if he had to choose between the 3 products he would pick the Rooibos first. I asked him if he thought both products were a good value for the price, he stated that Yerba Royale was. But he had a hard time with paying $2.00 for just a sample of coffee. You can find Yerba Mate Royale for $5.49 per box, and the Teeccino Almond Amaretto for $2.00 per sample.
Once again you can find these products at http://www.supermomshealthandwellness.com.
Last but not least I will talk about the following, Prairie Kari Lively Lemon Soap and Cinnamon, Oat and Honey Soap. Both of these soaps are handmade and run for $4.00 per bar. Erica Johns offers over 15 varieties of these handmade soaps I liked the smell of both products, but if I had to choose from the 2 I would go with the cinnamon, oat and honey that was my favorite. The price is not to bad considering that the soaps are handmade and I know how long it takes to make these types of products as I use to do it as well. The good thing about these types of soaps is that you know they don’t have any added materials that commercial soaps have. And they are good for people with sensitive skin or have certain allergies. Would I pay for these soaps in the future, yes I would. I like handmade soaps especially when they are made with care and are a good quality as these soaps are. Buy these soaps at http://www.supermomshealthandwellness.com.
Chicks And Cubs
By allkinds on Feb 10, 2007 | In Child and Safety Products
Cynthia Powell owner of Chicks And Cubs sells a variety of keepsakes, slings and child safety products. I received 5 samples to review. And if you are a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or know anybody who has children then you need to check out this website.
I received a child safety identification wristband which is available for $8 and comes in either blue or pink. The wristband can be used to hide your child's personal information and medical information as well.
If your child is ever lost or hurt their information can be easily found inside the wristband. This is great to use if your child goes on school trips or if you are traveling away from home. The wristband is very durable and no one would ever know that the there is information inside the wristband unless your child tells someone.
Another product that I found interesting was the shoe sticker ID kit. The kit includes 20 stickers and you can use it for up to 10 pairs of shoes. They give you 1 permanent marker and you write your child's information and hide it in their shoes. The cost of the product is $10 and its another great way to hide your child's personal info, all they have to do if they need help is take off a shoe and had it to a trusty adult.
If you have a baby or a child in a car seat you can purchase a car seat ID kit. The kit includes 4 ID cards (blank), 4 self seal pouches and 4 Velcro tab sets. The set costs $10 and you can use these on car seats, strollers, booster seats, bikes or wheel chairs. There is a spot for a thumb print and photo and you can add your child's name and address as well as other information. Once this is done you can seal it in the pouch provided and attach it to the car seat or another place.
There is also some safety products that parents can carry and one of those products is the wallet ID kit. With this kit you get 5 blank ID cards and 5 self seal pouches. You can add the same information as the car seat ID. These can be carried in your wallet, give one to your child and you can also give one to everyone who cares for your child. This kit is available for $10. This is a great way to remember all of your child's personal information and hand it to an officer.
I feel that anything that can safe a child's life is a great product and worth every penny. No parent or grandparent should be without one of these products. If you would like to find out more information about these products or to purchase these products visit www.chicksandcubs.com.
Be sure to use this $2.00 off voucher # 312673545

Country Meadow Creations
By allkinds on Aug 31, 2007 | In Bath and Body
Country Meadow Creations is owned by Colleen Johnston. Colleen makes handcrafted glycerin and all natural soaps. This review will be on a soap called Tangerine Facial. I received a 4 oz bar of soap, after reading the ingredients I had one of my other tester's do the review since I am allergic to one of the ingredients found in the soap. The review is based on the opinions of my tester Samantha.
Samantha loves bath and body products and she is always looking for more products to test out. When I gave the soap to Samantha she loved the box, she thought it was so nicely made and thought that it came from a major company.
She was impressed to find out that it came from a work at home mom. One of the things Samantha liked about the soap was that it was made of natural ingredients and that the soap did not have any harsh smells to it. She used it for about a week and stated that the soap did not dry her skin out like many of the major soaps do. It felt very nice on her skin. She also stated that it was very well made and its worth the price. If she had her choice she would switch to this soap. She liked the fact that the ingredients are listed on the box and she can read and fully understand what she is putting on her skin. I asked Samantha what rating would she give and she stated she would give this soap 4 out of 5 stars.
If you are interested in purchasing this soap or any of Colleens products check out the site. You can get a bar of soap for $4.95 at http://www.countrymeadowcreations.com
One Group
By allkinds on Jan 4, 2008 | In Bath and Body
Michele Dupper is a independent representative for One Group. One Group is located in Australia. They manufacture and create certified organic skin care, hair care, personal care, health care and cosmetic products.
Michele sent me samples of rejuvenating moisturizer, sunflower body wash and lemon myrtle shampoo. I first have to say that this is the first time I have tried anything organic. I must say that the sunflower body wash smelled so good, it lathers pretty good and it makes you feel very fresh and clean. The body wash contains sunflower oil which is filled with vitamins for your skin. You can purchase a bottle of 8.5 fl oz for $16.95.
The lemon myrtle shampoo is good for normal to oily hair you can purchase it for $20.95 and it contains 8.5 fl oz of shampoo. Susan one of our reviewers tried the shampoo and she loved it as she said "it left her hair having a shine to it, and she also stated it smelled good".
Finally the moisturizer was reviewed by Sammy. She has problems with dry skin, so she wanted to give it a try. Sammy said "she liked the way it rubbed on her hands and she said that it maybe a product she could use." Sammy also said she would buy more samples to verify that this was a product she would stick to using, and she hoped it would help her control her dry skin. You can purchase this product for $47.95 and you will receive 1.7 fl oz.
Over all I think that Michele has very nice products and you can buy samples if you want to try them out. I know that with anything organic it will cost a little more to buy these type of products. Which is worth it for those of you that are into organic products. For those of you who have never tried anything organic I recommend that you purchase some samples, they are very inexpensive and you can see which products you like. You can also see if using organic products is for you.
